Teacher Qualification Process

Job Description
|
- Attend
Teachers' meetings.
- Adhere
to the Policies and Procedures of CCDOT.
- Order
CCD materials from the CCDOT office.
- Attend
Prison orientation meeting.
- Teach the CCD Program to inmates/students in
facilities such as prisons and jails, halfway houses, homeless shelters,
businesses, rehabilitation facilities, and churches.
- Submit
attendance record and status report to the CCDOT office.
- Attend
a Bill Glass Day or Weekend of Champions once a year.

Job Specification
|
- Be
born again.
- Basic
Minimum Knowledge (BMK) of the Bible
- Ability to teach a class of students from various
cultures, backgrounds, education and economic levels.
- Ability
to maintain attendance record and write status report.
- Willing
to submit to the authority of the CCDOT staff.
- Be
punctual and faithful in attendance.
- Ability
to work with minimal supervision.

Selection Process
|
- Submit
to the CCDOT office the Teacher's Application,
written Christian testimony, and a referral letter from their Pastor.
- Interview
with the CCDOT Staff.
- Receive the Teacher's Packet and study the CCD
materials. The Teacher's ultimate goal is to learn the twelve steps and
their associated scriptures.
- Attend
Teacher's orientation and training class.
- Attend
recommended CCD Chapter at a facility.
- Second
interview with the CCDOT Staff.
- Upon
approval and facility assignment, contact the Chaplain or Leader of the
facility.
- Arrange and attend an Introduction Meeting with the
Chaplain or Leader.
